Coastal Friends Mangalore (R) is a non-profit organization rooted in the values of true friendship and community service. Established in 2018, it began as a small WhatsApp group of Beary community members and has since grown into a united family dedicated to creating a positive impact through charitable initiatives and support.
Guided by the motto “Friendship for a Cause,” we believe in the power of genuine connections to bring about meaningful change. Through trust, respect, and collective action, we strive to uplift communities and inspire hope, one initiative at a time.

Bringing joy and hope by spending a meaningful day
we have held an annual cricket tournament with the slogan “ಗೆಳೆಯರಿಂದ ಗೆಳೆಯರಗಾಗಿ ಗೆಳೆಯರೆೇ ನಡೆಸುವ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್”.
we operate 30 medical beds across the Dakshina Kannada district, offering them to underprivileged patients free of charge.

we launched “Santwanada Sanchara – A Day with Bedridden”, a heartfelt initiative that brought comfort and joy to bedridden patients in the Dakshina Kannada district. This program aimed to provide therapeutic outings and bring emotional relief to those who are unable to leave their homes. We recognized the mental and emotional toll that illness and confinement can have on individuals, and through this program, we sought to brighten their lives and offer much-needed companionship.
On December 14, 2024, we are excited to launch the second edition of “Santwanada Sanchara”, this time focusing on orphans. We are organizing a special day out for orphaned children, aimed at bringing joy, comfort, and hope to those who have lost their families. By sharing a day full of fun and care, we aim to remind these children that they are not forgotten and that they too are loved and valued members of our society. This event will coincide with the launch of our new website, marking another milestone in our journey of service.
