Coastal Friends Mangalore (Regd.) successfully conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Bombay Lucky Restaurant Hall under the chairmanship of the outgoing President, Mr. Shareef Abbas Valal. The meeting witnessed active participation from members and marked the election of the organization’s new leadership team for the 2026–2027 term.
The AGM commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Mueen. The Annual Report was presented by the General Secretary, Mr. Shoukath Ali, while Joint Secretary Mr. Junaid Bantwal submitted the annual report on the organization’s Medical Bed Service. Treasurer Mr. Imtiyaz S.M. presented the audited financial statement for the year. Following detailed discussions, all reports were unanimously approved by the members.
Addressing the gathering, outgoing President Mr. Shareef Abbas Valal highlighted the organization’s achievements over the past year and shared his vision for its continued growth. Honorary President Mr. Asif Sooralpady also addressed the members, appreciating the collective efforts that have strengthened Coastal Friends Mangalore’s commitment to community service.
The election process was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Saleem Abbas Valal, Mr. Asif Sooralpady, and Mr. Mustafa Dammale, ensuring a smooth and transparent selection process.

Following the election, the newly elected President Mr. Shameer Lucky Star expressed his sincere gratitude to all members for the confidence and trust they had placed in the new leadership. He reaffirmed the committee’s commitment to strengthening Coastal Friends Mangalore’s social service initiatives, promoting unity among members, and expanding the organization’s impact through meaningful community welfare, cultural, educational, and youth development activities.
The proceedings were compered by Munna Kamaradi, and the meeting concluded with a Dua, followed by a fellowship dinner attended by all members.
A New Chapter Begins
