The Coastal Friends Mangalore (CFM) community successfully organized a unique and vibrant cricket tournament — by friends, for friends, and managed by friends — under the banner of CFM Barish Trophy Season 1 – 2025. The tournament was held at the Uppala Ground, Kasaragod, amidst great enthusiasm, energy, and celebration held on 01 Aug 2025
This colorful cricket carnival featured five teams formed by CFM members, all competing for the prestigious Barish Trophy:
- Royal Hunters – Owner: Siraj Parladka
- CFM Heroes – Owner: Salam Sammi
- CFM Lagaan – Owner: Shafeek Valal
- Arafa Silvers – Owner: Shafeek Arafa
- FCC Strikers – Owner: Munna Kammaradi
More than just a sporting event, the tournament stood as a true celebration of friendship, teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship. Every match delivered thrilling moments, with excitement building steadily as the competition advanced toward the finals.
Royal Hunters dominated the league stage and secured a direct entry into the final by topping the points table. Meanwhile, FCC Strikers earned their spot in the final after an impressive semi-final victory over CFM Heroes.
The grand final, which continued with great enthusiasm until 2:00 AM, witnessed an electrifying contest. Displaying dominant yet disciplined gameplay, Royal Hunters emerged victorious, defeating FCC Strikers to claim their maiden CFM Barish Trophy title.
The successful conclusion of CFM Barish Trophy Season 1 – 2025 marked a memorable milestone for Coastal Friends Mangalore.
